We recommend making your reservation at least 24 hours in advance, particularly for airport arrivals, early departures, long-distance trips, family transportation, and requests requiring additional equipment.
Toronto Pearson provides designated pickup areas for pre-arranged taxi and limousine services. The airport lists Door A in Terminal 1 and Door A in Terminal 3 for pre-arranged pickups.
Flight Monitoring for Airport Arrivals
When you provide your flight number, the YYZ Pearson Taxi team can monitor your flight information online as part of the airport pickup coordination process.
This helps our team stay informed about changes to your scheduled arrival. After your flight is landing or once the arrival process is underway, your driver will be in touch with you, usually within a few minutes, to coordinate the pickup.
Passengers should keep their mobile phone available after landing and make sure the contact number provided during booking is correct.
Airport pickup coordination may also involve the airport’s designated pre-arranged transportation procedures. Pearson’s current rules state that pre-arranged service operators are notified when a passenger has arrived and is ready for pickup.
Meet & Greet Airport Pickup

If you would like additional assistance locating your driver after arriving at Pearson Airport, request Meet & Greet service when making your reservation.
Depending on the arrangement, the driver can coordinate with you by phone or text and provide pickup instructions. Please follow the specific instructions included with your confirmed reservation, as Pearson has designated procedures and pickup locations for pre-arranged transportation.
Child Car Seats Available Upon Request
Families travelling with children can request a suitable child seat when making their reservation.
Available options may include:
- Infant car seat
- Toddler car seat
- Booster seat
Child seats must be requested in advance so the appropriate equipment can be arranged for your trip. Availability may depend on the vehicle and the type of seat requested.
Additional charges may apply for child car seats. Please request the required seat when submitting your reservation so the applicable cost can be confirmed before the trip.
Pet-Friendly Transportation
Pets can travel with YYZ Pearson Taxi upon request. We accommodate passengers travelling with pets, including dogs and cats, subject to vehicle availability and applicable transportation requirements.
Please provide the type and number of pets when booking. This information allows us to determine the appropriate vehicle and make the necessary arrangements.
Additional charges may apply depending on the number of dogs, pets, or specific transportation requirements. Service animals are handled according to applicable requirements.
Toronto Pearson also advises passengers travelling with animals to confirm that their selected taxi or limousine can accommodate the animal.
Last-Minute Taxi Requests
Although we recommend booking at least 24 hours ahead, last-minute requests are accepted when availability permits.
Same-day or short-notice service is not guaranteed because vehicles may already be assigned to previously confirmed reservations. For an urgent request, contact us directly by phone, text, or WhatsApp so we can check current availability.
